SignalDock

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

SignalDock is operated by Ipê Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how SignalDock collects, uses, stores, and shares information when a merchant installs or uses the SignalDock app.

Information we collect

When a merchant installs or uses SignalDock, we may collect and store store information such as shop domain, store name, store email, currency, time zone, primary locale, installation status, and app session information needed to authenticate the app.

Merchants may provide tracking configuration such as a Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID, Google Analytics API Secret, Meta Pixel ID, and Meta access token. SignalDock also stores Web Pixel identifiers and settings needed to keep the app configured.

SignalDock receives customer event data through Shopify Web Pixels and customer events. This may include event name, event ID, event time, event source, checkout or commerce data such as value, currency, and transaction identifiers when provided by the event, plus delivery logs showing whether events were sent successfully to configured destinations.

SignalDock does not request read_orders or read_all_orders, and does not import a store's full order history through the Admin API.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • authenticate merchants and operate the embedded app;
  • create and manage the SignalDock Web Pixel;
  • receive, normalize, and forward customer events;
  • send events to merchant-configured destinations such as Google Analytics 4 and Meta Conversions API;
  • show event counts, delivery status, and failed delivery attempts;
  • provide support, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app;
  • meet security, legal, and compliance obligations.

How information is shared

SignalDock sends event data only to destinations configured by the merchant, such as Google Analytics 4 and Meta Conversions API. These destinations process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may use infrastructure and service providers to host, store, secure, and operate SignalDock. We do not sell personal information.

Customer data and consent

SignalDock is designed to process customer event and commerce data for analytics and conversion tracking. Merchants are responsible for configuring their store, consent settings, analytics destinations, and privacy notices in accordance with laws that apply to their business.

If SignalDock later adds optional features that use protected customer data such as buyer email, phone, name, or address for advanced matching, the app will request the required access and update this policy before those features are used.

Data retention and deletion

We retain app configuration, event records, and delivery logs while the app is installed and for as long as needed to provide the service, troubleshoot delivery issues, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

When a merchant uninstalls SignalDock, the app marks the store as inactive and removes app sessions. Merchants may request deletion of app data by contacting us.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect app data, including encrypted HTTPS connections and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International transfers

SignalDock may process information in countries other than the country where the merchant or customer is located. We take steps intended to protect information when it is transferred or processed internationally.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
